Been using it a lot longer more advanced than any other human inventions, industrial revolution just taken place.
Most sophisticated and colossal weapon that could stand a chance, now it’s the martians turn to face the unknown as they look confused with the impressive weaponry
What happens after the two martians are dead
Mysterious object suggesting war is not concluded
Closing paragraph refers to some cataclysmic martians flying machine which also generates tremendous suspense for Book 2
