Encouraged to recreate both the physical and psychological environment of the original incident.

Even irrelevant details are included because memories are interconnected and so may cue other memories and form a clearer picture

Reverse the order of events to prevent pre-existing schemas influencing what you recall
What occurs during change perspective?
Recall the incident from multiple perspectives.
This disrupts the effect that schemas may have on recall.
