A

. The effect of Natives moving to urban areas had the effect of creating ghetto communities which actually had the effect of helping to preserve Native culture.
. It also led to the creation of the Native civil rights groups e.g Red Power.
. The period created the conditions from which Natives were able to progress and bring an end to the policy of assimilation.
