Q

CVP waveform

A

ax cx’ vy
a = Atrial contraction
x = atrial relaXation
c = triCuspid contraction
x’ = right ventricular contraction (sucks the tricuspid valve downwards with it)
v = Venous filling (atria)
y = atrial emptYing (tricuspid opens, blood dumps in)
