A
Raised ESR and CRP, TEMPORAL ARTERY BIOPSY
mild anaemia, -ve autoabs,
May also do USS

MX of GCA
A
Predni 40-60mg, reduce gradually
Can give Tocilizumab or metho, aza
GIVE osteo proph with predni

Sx of PMR
A
Proximal muscle pain and stiffness affecting shoulder and pelvic girdle

Dx of PMR
A
Raised ESR and CRP, Ab -ve, muscle enzymes normal. Importantly, sx resolve within 3-4 days with predni
