  • DO NOT CHANGE CONFIG UNTIL CLEAR
  • CLOSELY MONITOR FLIGHT PATH / SPEED
  • RECOVER SMOOTHLY TO NORMAL CLB

WHEN OUT OF SHEAR.

Notes:

    1. AP disengages if AoA > Alpha Prot.
    1. IF NO FD BARS - 17.5º Pitch

Then if necessary to prevent loss of ALT, increase PITCH.

When a PREDICTIVE W/S alert

“WINDSHEAR AHEAD” or “GO-AROUND WINDSHEAR”

is triggered.

If the flighcrew makes a positive verification

that NO HAZARD EXISTS, then the alert may be

DISREGARDED, as long as:

  • No other signs of Poss. W/S conditions
  • The reactive Windshear Sys is Operational

ALWAYS RELY ON REACTIVE WINDSHEAR
