Q

Vaginal edema/hyperplasia occurs when ______ levels are high, usually in young large breed dogs. Tissues arise from the ______________.

__________ is often mistaken for edema, however it has a classical ___________shape.

Upon the occurrence of either of the aforementioned conditions, ______ (surgery) is indicated.

A

Vaginal edema/hyperplasia occurs when ESTROGEN levels are high, usually in young large breed dogs. Tissues arise from the VENTRAL VAGINAL FLOOR.

VAGINAL PROLAPSE is often mistaken for edema, however it has a classical CIRCULAR/DONUT shape. (entire circumference of the vagina prolapses)

Upon the occurrence of either of the aforementioned conditions, OHEis indicated.
