Work out when the cross at the bottom of the conical flask disappears, repeating 3 times as it is quite hard to measure
Decrease by 0.04 mol each time

Measure 50cm3 2mol hydrochloric acid into a 100cm3 conical flask
Put a delivery tube, linking it to a half fill trough of water with an upside down measuring cylinder clamped
Add 3cm magnesium ribbon and measure the gas produced every 10 seconds
Repeat with 1 mol
