Job production is when individual products are made one at a time to meet specific customer preferences

Bad things/good things:
-Highly skilled labour and have a high labour to capital ratio they can be very labour intensive
-They are ususally expensive and take a long time to make,but also high quality

what does it do to be efficient?

Answer 2

-The opposite of job production.All products are identical and aim to produce as many products as possible.To be efficient production has to be continuous without stoppages many flow production facotires are open 24/7

what is the aim for flow production?

Answer 3

-The aim is to gain from economies of scale and so have a low average unit cost to allow competitive prices
-Modern flow production us robots not people to do most of the work,whereas workers to do jobs along the assembly linr hey are simplier tasks
-Flow production is highly capital intensive and may require alot of space
-It is used for mass market products most modern consumer goods are produced this way eg chocolate bar televisions
