This beatitude tells us to have complete dependence on God.

Jesus tells us not just to be forgiving but also to be compassionate as well.
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy
Those who focus their attention solely on God.
They always put God first in their lives.
Blessed are the clean of heart for they will see God.
They work to resolve conflicts, reconciliation, and harmony.
They consider everyone as brothers and sisters.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the Children of God.
Jesus tells us that we should not fear those who can harm us because we are doing God’s work.
If we suffer because we are defending what is good and right, we shall have our place in God’s kingdom.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
