Low level of DMS acceptable (cooked sweetcorn aroma)

  2. International dark lager
  3. Marzen (alt. lab. term from OUTSIDE Germany: Oktoberfestbier)
  4. Vienna lager
  5. International amber lager

!!! GERMAN ‘‘Oktoberfestbier (Festbier/Wiesn)’’ labelling term is more commonly used for beer similar to Munich helles but slightly stronger and fuller-bodied, golden in colour

  1. Helles Bock (Maibock)
  2. Dunkles bock (bock)
  3. Dopplebock (suffix ‘ator’ from Salvator to indicate this style)

Rauchbier can be attached to range of other classic German beer styles when brewed with smoked malts.
