A

it is an infection of the cornea
because you have had contact lenses - if you go swimming in your contact lenses
wearing contact lenses and going to sleep
trauma to eye
inadequate disnifecting

or injury from eye - refractive surgery

stpah areus and pseudomonas areuginosa

hat is the pathophysiology of cornea ?

A
there is a corneal epithelium 
bowmans layer
stroma 
descendants membrane 
endothelium 

there is a disruption in the corneal epithelium
the micrograms enters - enter through the bowman layer into the corneal stroma - necrosis and inflammation - process is QUICK -RAPID DIAGNOSIS

A

pain
purulent secretion
PHOTOPHOBIA
decrease vision

signs - corneal thinning 
hypopyon - inflammatory cells seen in anterior chamber 
descements folds 
CHEMOSIS
ulcer seen as a -GREYISH WHITISH PLAQUE

glaucoma
synechia - iris adheres to the lens or the cornea

perforation of the cornea !!!- endopthalmitis
