It means that someone an individual has caused and error or a breach.

It carries out regular system scans to detect virus and to remove them or deactivate them.
What is the intrusion detection system?
It is a system that will take as input an audit record of system use and look for anomalous use.

A full backup is made at regular intervals, perhaps weekly
