Symphysis pubis.

Approximately the height of the umbilicus.
Where would you expect to find the fundus at 16 weeks?
Midway between the symphysis pubis and the umbilicus.
What is it called when you measure the fundal height?
McDonald Maneuver
When can the fundus be palpated abdominally?
After 12 weeks.
Where would you expect to find the fundus at 36-38 weeks?
Just below the xyphoid process.
How do you measure fundal height?
Measure from the upper border of the pubic symphysis to the upper border of the fundus with a measuring tape.
How do centimeters correspond with gestational age in fundal height measurement?
Each centimeter approximately corresponds to the gestational age in weeks from 20–34 weeks’ gestation.
