A
  • those who’s ancestors had lived in areas of earth before the age of colonialism
  • shared culture, language, history, and religion/spirituality, and religious practices
  • they strive to maintain a distinct way of life (the way they dress, communicate, cultivate the land, thinking and acting
  • may have several labels (first nations, native americans, indians, aboriginals
