a median band and 2 lateral bands
Where does the median and lateral band insert on the finger?
The median band inserts on the middle phalanx.
The lateral bands insert on the distal phalanx.
When can we see the anatomical snuff box?
When the thumb extends
What is the floor of the anatomical snuff box formed by?
Scaphoid & Trapezium
How can we feel our pulse at the anatomical snuff box?
The radial artery passes by through this space
What nerve can we find superficial to the anatomical snuff box?
The superficial branch of the radial nerve
