- Tendons of long flexors (FDS & FDP)
- Lumbricals

Originate from the tendons of FDP and insert into the extensor expansions of digit II to V
How are the lumbricals numbered?
Numbered 1-4 from lateral to medial
What are the innervations of the central compartment muscles?
1st and 2nd - Median nerve
3rd and 4th - Deep branch of ulnar nerve
