What condition do the following fundoscopy signs indicate?

  • Optic disc cupping: cup to disc ratio >0.7 (norm 0.4-0.7)
  • Optic disc pallor
  • Bayonetting of vessels (breaks as disappear into cup, re-appear at base)
  • +/- cup notching where vessels enter disc
  • +/- disc haemorrhages
