To bring about a BLUE REVOLUTION through sustainable and responsible development of fisheries sector in India including marine and inland fisheries

1) 11000 cr for activities in marine, inland fisheries and aquaculture
2) 9000 cr for infrastructure, fishing harbors, cold chain markets etc
This makes it the highest ever investment of upto 20000 cr in the fisheries sector

What are the key activities ?

Cage culture, sea weed farming, ornamental fisheries, new fishing vessels , traceability and lab networks
