Bloodsupply Liver Flashcards

Q

ARRIVING vessels to the LIVER

A
A. HEPATICA (ex. A.coelica)
- R.Dexter Lat/Med
 (Right lat/med lobes)
- R. Sinistrum
 (To the left side)
    -r.sinistri medialis
(L medial + Lobus QUADRATUS)
-r.sinistri lateralis -> Left lateral lobe
- A.Interlobularis (liver trias) = NUTRITIONAL

V. PORTA

(ex. V.lienalis, V.mesenterica cran et caud)
- V Interlobularis (liver trias)= FUNCTIONAL

Q

LEAVING vessels FROM the LIVER

A

Central veins - Sublobular veins - Hepatic veins - V. Cava caudalis

  1. Central veins collect blood from the LIVER LOBULES.
    And then they form the:
  2. Sublobular veins
    Which fuse into:
  3. Heparic veins
And then Hepatic veins enter into
  4. VENA CAVA CAUDALIS

Q

Vessels ARRIVING LIVER

- A. Hepatica

A

Ex Coeliaca
(Branch of the Coeliac artery)

A.Hepatica gives branches towards each lobes:

  1. Ramus dexter lateralis and medialis
(Towards the right lateral and medial lobes)
  2. Ramus sinister (to the left side)
    Which will give:

I: Ramus sinistri mediales
(to the left medial Lobe and Lobus QUADRATUS)

II: Ramus sinistri laterales
(To the left lateral Lobe)

And then these vessels further devide into:

  1. Arteria Interlobularis (is a part of the liver trias) and they give the NUTRITIONAL supply of the liver!

Q

Vessels ARRIVING the LIVER

- V.PORTAE

A

2nd vessel arriving the liver!

Ex V.lienalis, V. Mesenterica cran, V. Mesenterica Caud

Collecting the blood from the:
V. lienalis
V. Mesenterica cran
V. Mesenterica caud

And then it branches into:
V. Interlobularis (part of liver trias)
Gives the functional blood
