Q

what do the superficial and deep inguinal nodes drain and where do they drain their efferent to?

A

the proximal superficial drains skin, external genitalia except testes, bit of uterus, anal region. the distal one drains lower limb. the deep nodes drain lower limb, perineum, anterior abdominal wall and lymph from superficial nodes. they all drain into external and common iliac and aortic nodes, which then from aortic forms the two lumbar trunks.
