Succesion Flashcards

1
Q

Factors affecting succesion (3)

A

Migration - the arrival of seeds, spores and animals is vital for succesion.
Intraspecific and inerspecific competition operates at all the seral stages of succesion. The succesful outcompeting of one species at one seral stage but not continue into the next.
