What is psychological literacy?
Applying psyc knowledge to a many spheres of life & thinking like a psychologist and reflecting on these to the betterment of society. Even if that means calling something out.
In a lake, there is a patch of lily pads. Everyday the patch doubles in size. If it takes 48 days for the patch to cover the whole lake how many days would it take to cover half the lake? Many people answer 24 days. What is this an example of?
Intuitive over analytical thinking.
How does psychology explain ‘the dress’?
Colour constancy- due to individual differences in the interpretation of illumination.
Your friend is having identical twins and has been researching the best ways to tell them apart. She is considering colour coding as the best option. What advice would you give?
Tell them not to worry too much, that individual differences will arise and that its better to get to know those things in their kids rather than encourage psychological short cuts

His indigenous association might facilitate explicit and implicit prejudice & stereotyping maintained by out group/in group preferences and the cognition of crowd behaviour.
