Por t Townsend is entered between Point Hudson and Marrowstone Point . Extends SSW for approx 2.5 NM then SSE for 3 miles. WSF terminal located here.

Marrowstone Point

A

East Point at the entrance to Port Townsend. Rises abruptly to a 120 ft. bluff. The light is on a 20ft. square structure.

Walan pt.

A

NW corner of Indian Island. It creates a harbor to the east used as a naval restricted area. Indian island is a Navy ammunition depot.

Kilisut harbor

A

Harbor extends SSE about 4 miles? between Indian Island and Marrowstone. Entrance is shallow. Indian Island and Marrowstone Is. are connected by a causeway.

Port Hadlock

A

Northerly entrance to the Port Townsend canal. The canal is dredged passage giving access to Oak Bay. Vertical clearance due to the fixed bridge is 58 feet. Vertical clearance due to power cables is 90 feet. Sept 2013 depths were 12feet. Controlling depth is 15 feet and width 75 feet. Lights and daybeacons mark both entrances to the canal.

Olele Pt.

A

Pt. is north Mats Mats Bay. Klas? rocks are .7 M SSE of the Pt. and marke the entrance to the bay. E side of Klas Rk is marked by a light.

A

This Bay is a small lagoon witha 100 yard entrance at high water. Very sheltered bay.

Tala Point

A

Point is a wooded bluff about 310 feet high serving as the W entrance to Hood Canal.

Foulweather Bluff

A

Bluff is the E side to Hood Canal Entrance. One of Puget sounds most prominent bluffs. The N face is bare and .5 NM wide with Gray sand and clay bluffs 225 feet high. The E side is 40 ft. high. The w side is also steep and high. (It is the south end of Admiralty inlet)?

Admiralty Head

A

Head is 80 feet high on Whidbey Island and is the E entrance to Admiralty Head. An abandoned lighthouse tower of 39 feet high stands on the top of the bluff.

Keystone Harbor

A

Harbor is entered through a dredged channel. WSF operates a terminal here. Harbor has a boat launch on the east side.

Lagoon Pt.

A

Point Features a prominent green tank . Dredged canals provide access to the Private Moorings.

Bush Point

A

Point is 8 M SSE of Admiralty Head. It is a low sandspit market by a light. It is almost abeam of SC TSS buoy.

Mutiny Bay

A

Bay between Bush Point and Double Bluff. Has clay bluffs and the center is low and flat.

Double Bluff.

A

Bluff is bare white cliff 300-400 feet high on the SE face. Marked by a white light.

Useless Bay

A

Bay open to the SW is E of double Bluff. The shores are bluffs. They are brush covered and low. An antenna light is prominent 2M NE of the head of the bay.
