Q

Name three differences a verbal and nonverbal communication

A

1) nonverbal communication is perceived as honest (if somebody is lying it is often easy to tell that they are lying through their body language)
2) nonverbal communication is multi channeled (it may be seen, felt, heard, smelled, and tasted)
3) nonverbal communication is more continuous than verbal communication (before we speak, or facial expressions and posture express our feelings. As we speak, our body movements and appearance communicate. After we speak, our posture changes, perhaps relaxing)
