What artery is used when measuring blood pressure?

The upper arm, the brachial artery

What is blood pressure?
A
Blood flows and is pushed against walls of vesicles, which is exerted over a surface area, which equals blood pressure.

When is blood measured?
A
Heart starts pumping at point of 75, pressure goes up during squeezing part (Systole). Then, the heart relaxes, dropping pressure, refilling the heart (diastole), during 1 heartbeat.
~1/3 ststole, and ~2/3 diastole.
