  • Children or older adults with less than 10% total body surface area partial thickness burns.
  • Adults with less than 15% total body surface area partial thickness burns.
  • Burns can not involve face, hands, feet, genitalia, perineum, or major joints.

  • Any patient with greater than 25% total body surface area.

  • Any patient with burns to the face, eyes, ears, hands, or perineum.
  • If Impairment exists.
  • Respiratory complications
