A

If not VFR, request vectors to an instrument approach

A

Within 5 miles of Buffalo/Carrier, clear of clouds, state: “C/S request contact approach”
Once established at pattern altitude with VFR cloud clearances say “C/S cancel IFR, Buffalo/Carrier”

What do you do if you cannot get VFR (including cloud clearances) by Buffalo/Carrier?

A

Immediately turn to heading 270 (turn towards the field), climb and maintain 4000’ and contact RAPCON on CH12
