What are the assumptions in the ACM phase?
The fighter pair are radar equipped

To increase airspeed, the fighters should both select full power, de-select CF and unload to 0g (ensuring hard deck is not infringed) and select HUDAC.
Once the killing shot has been timed out select a heading that will best put the fighter pair into Line Abreast
When must the supporting fighter separate?
As the Supporting Fighter you must only separate vertically from the fight when you are able to generate a high aspect, min-sep pass with the HOSTILE.
