Cherry: “I’m not fragile.”
Justine: “Lewis, this is Ruth.”
“Hello.”
Lewis: “I meant about the theme. Love is not important nowadays.”
Roy: “What planet are you from?”
“Will we have cappuccinos?”
Lewis: “Sorry?”
“On stage. How will we make the froth?”
Lewis: “I don’t quite follow.”
“For the opening scene in the coffee shop we’ll have to have a real cappuccino machine.”
Lewis: “We don’t have to have cappuccinos.”
“Good. I don’t like them.”
Roy [to Lewis]: “We should get Occupational Therapy onto making the costumes straight away.”
“So we’ll pretend? To drink coffee.”
Lewis: “If we do - yes.”
“But what if I want to stir the froth into the coffee?”
Lewis: “Maybe we’ll have instant coffee.”
“Did they have instant coffee in Mozart’s day?”
Roy: “It doesn’t matter, Ruth.”
“But I don’t like instant coffee.”
