Water and stuff
Plants grow in water and on top. Plants and water have flexible stems that absorb things through the leaves and how floating leaves and seeds so they can travel long-distances

The burrowing bullfrog
Has a tubercle on the front which is structural. Can handle a lot of urea and lays dormant until breeding season which are both physiological
Pelican
Has a large bell with a stretchable pouch which is used to scoop up fish from underwater
