Q

Advance Stalls

Standard Recovery

A

1) Release back pressure / apply forward pressure &/or opposite rudder the wing drop / neutralize all control pressure

2) Apply full power (if power is below 2550 rpm) as the nose reaches the horizon (Retract flaps 30 to 20 if it is deployed on full, if not maintain present flap settings Anticipate any unwanted yaw as the power is being applied on recovery)

3) At a safe airspeed (55 kias) swiftly apply back pressure

4) Continue climbing with Vy

5) Retract flaps by stages at a positive VSI rate

Q

Advance Stalls

In case of unwanted inverted attitude

A

If indicated airspeed is below 60 kias, apply back pressure + idle power

If indicated airspeed is greater than 60 kias, unroll the aircraft with ailerons

Entry Chandelles

A

1) Pick reference point 90 and 180, clear area

2) Entry speed == 95 kias (maneuvering)

3) Bank 20-30(Hold 30 until 90point)

4) Pitch up + full power (to gain altitude)

5) At 90 point max pitch and max angle of bank 30

6) Passing 90 start reducing angle of bank, maintain pitch and coordination until 180

7)180 point – wings level, MCA

Q

Advance maneuvers

Lazy 8 entry

A

1) Pick reference point 0, 45, 90, 135 and 180, clear area

2) Entry speed == 95 kias (maneuvering) maintain 2300 rpm

3) Gently pitch up then up to white arc, bank max 15 until 45 point

4) At 45 point
– max pitch, bank angle 15
– Pitch begins to decrease, bank angle continues to increase

5) At 90 point
– max AoB 30
– Pitch continues to decrease, bank angle decreases

6) At 135 point
– reduce AoB to 15
– Pitch starts to increase, bank angle decreases

7) At 180 point
– wings level, pitch level
– Airspeed and altitude == same as the entry
Repeat the steps
