- other causes are ectopic production from Ca (pancreatic)

What are the clinical features of acromegaly?

A
  • facial changes - protruding jaw, large tongue
  • spade like hands
  • oily sweaty skin
  • mass effect - headaches, bitemporal hemianopia
  • often raised prolactin - galactorrhoea

  • serum IGF-1 levels
