CA - how does the FOM define Mechanical Irregularities?
any condition of the aircraft in which a system or component is not operating in a normal manner consistent with the original Equipment Manufacturer standards or specifications, including suspected or visible damage to components, accessories, equipment, or structure.

CA - on a FFOD are you required to verify the security seals on MCD, GSD, and compare them to the log kept by the ground personnel prior to opening the aircraft doors
only when the search was done at night and the aircraft wasn’t attended or monitored
FO - what action must be taken if a security seal is verified to be missing
verify with the station that the seal was removed by authorized personnel and unauthorized access has been prevented. if they cannot, then GSC must be contacted. IF GSD or MCD door seal was in question then a cabin search is required, if just cargo, then just cargo compartment needs to be searched
CA - when is a cold weather preflight inspection conducted
5C or colder conditions conducive to icing exist through flight ice accumulation fuel temp 0C or colder overnight contamination
using CRJ200 external inspection tile on EFB ask each pilot 5 questions
include normal and abnormal conditions
