both British and French claimed the Ohio River Valley

He issued the Proclamation line of 1763 as a way to avoid further conflicts with the indians

It was a law that said that colonists were NOT allowed to settle west past the Appalachian Mountains.
How did colonists respond to the Proclamation of 1763?
they were very upset about it because they wanted to settle west.
What else did king George do after the war?
He begin to tax the colonists because Britain was now broke as hell because of the war.
How did the colonists feel about the sudden taxations?
They became very unhappy because they felt that they did not have a voice in parliament

Britain closed Boston’s harbors from trade, they restricted meetings in Massachusetts until all of the tea from the Boston Tea Party was repaid.
