Describe the process of content/thematic analysis
A
- Read through the material and identify behaviour categories/themes
- Give an example of this behaviour category/theme
- Re-read material and tally up each behaviour category/theme
- Total up each behaviour category/theme

What is a meta analysis ?
A
Multiple studies with similar hypotheses are collected and one conclusion is made.

What is a strength of meta analysis ?
A
Usually has a high validity because there are larger quantities of data to prove the given hypothesis.

What is a weakness of meta analysis ?
A
There may be extraneous variables which affect the reliability and validity of the meta analysis, for example does all of the research used contain standardised procedures ?
