God gave Israel laws that told the people how to live to please him. If Israel obeyed the laws, the nation around them would see the great and true God.
Mosaic covenant
God promises to restore the Israelites to their land and change their hearts so they would love and obey him. The holy spirit would come to Jews and Gentiles who received Him and changed their hearts.

God promises his offspring would become a great nation. God would bring a great blessing to all the families of the earth.
