度 vs 回

A

回: rounds, times, repetitive action
度: typically meant to count degrees (only time its used to count occurrences, it usually only goes up to 4)
for example, a common phrase is “もう二度としない” meaning I will never do it again.

with that being said もう一度 and もう 一回 are the same
but anything outside of that, its safe to use 一回

に “indication of time”

A

used to indicate a precise time or date.
水曜日にテストがあります
(there is a test on Wednesday)
八時に起きた
(I woke up at 8)

but does not apply to ‘today’ or ‘tomorrow’ as its not a precise time or date
今日にテストがあります does not work
今日,テストがあります (correct) today we have a test
八時に起きた (I will graduate in October)
