Revolt of Edwin + Morcar - Unhappy with the living conditions of Anglo-Saxons. W replied by building castles , revolt ultimately failed as they both soon submitted.

Later in SEPT, King Sweyn of Denmark attacks again with Edgar Atheling. Harrying of the north begins as a result.,

Revolt of Hereward the Wake - Taking place in Ely, joined forces with danes to fight against William. Some Anglo-Saxons aided William in helping showing acceptance.

Revolt of the Earls - First revolt involving Norman Earls Roger De Breteuil and Ralph de Gael. As well as Waltheof (last Anglo-Saxon earl)

Landownership changes take place - Must pay and pay homage to the king when purchasing land, even if you are the heir by blood.

William Attends business in Normandy and Keeps Odo + FitzOsbern in charge (who abuse their power)

Archbishop Stigand Removed and replaced with Lanfranc.
L makes several changes including making priests celibate.
