  2. Prev of VTE in surgical pts, tx of VTE, prev of extracorporeal thrombosis during HD, Tx of STEMI, non-STEMI & unstable angina, tx of PE
  3. SUBCUT
    Prev of VTE:
    Surgical patients mod risk: 20mg OD
    High risk or medical pts: 40mg OD
    for 7-10 days or until mobilised.

Tx of VTE:
1mg/kg BD OR 1.5mg/kg OD until adequate ORAL anticoagulation is achieved.
USE BD DOSE IF: Ca, recurrent VTE, smx PE, obesity.

STEMI- give w/aspirin
