analogy
comparison in which in an idea/thing is compared to another thing quite different, aims at comparing.
paralleism
components in a sentence that are grammatically the same , or similar in their contribution , sound, meaning or meter .
allusion
brief an indirect reference to a person, place, or thing or idea of historical/cultural/Literacy or political significance. Does not describe in detail the person or thing to which it refers. It’s just a comment and the writer expects the reader to possess enough language to spot the illusion and graphs the importance in text.
metonymy
figure of speech that replaces the name of a thing with the name of something else which is closely associated. across example of metonymy from literacy and everyday life , don’t confuse with metaphor
