Q

Apoptosis process

A
  1. The cell receives an apoptotic signal
  2. Cell shrinks and condenses, breaking down internal components
  3. DNA is fragmented into smaller pieces
  4. The cell forms apoptotic bodies
  5. Immune cells engulf and digest apoptotic bodies to prevent inflammation
