It indicates that there is a navaid limitation and that reference to Jeppesen Radio Aids AU-37 should be made to identify what the limitation is.

You have a look at your chart and see a letter ‘D’ in the box next to the frequency of a station identifier. What does this indicate to you?
A
It indicates that there is a DME at that station with the frequency listed in that box.
