The importantance of discovering and unlocking information about the past.

Name three methods of dating artefacts.

1) radiocarbon dating, dating based on the levels of carbon-14 in the tissue.
2) geophysical surveying, like an x-ray on the ground.
3) pollen analysis, study of pollen remains to see what was growing at the time.
