Section 24 PACE 1984

  1. The person has been involved, has attempted to be involved or is suspected of involvment in the commission of a criminal offence
  2. There are reasonable grounds for believing that the persons arrest js necessary
  • Power to arrest without a warrant
  • Use fairly, responsibly, with respect
  • Committed or suspected
