People in Scotland can participate in society in many ways explain in detain two reasons why some people might participate in pressure groups
Some people join or support pressure groups because they might be affected by something they see or hear. This could be a video they see or a post on social media for example people showed support for BLM after seeing the video of George floyd murder.
Another reason people join pressure is it support them financially. If a group had more money it can engage in more campaign activities like producing leaflets or websites. For example you can join green peace for £2 a month

One reasons why women are under represented is because of family commitment . This meant working for an msp can be difficult as a mum . For example on a Wednesday thr oaraliament extended to 7:00pm longer hours are seen as a barrier to women.

Explain in details the role of first minister
The first minister is responsible to determine for the number of Scottish cabinets ministers and their responsiblities for example the Scottish education department will be led by a cabinet secretary (joe swiney) who is responsible to the Scottish paraliament for the work of the department
Another responsibility for the first minister is setting the priorities of the Scottish paraliament . For example what policies go ahead and allocating resources where needed
