• insert OPA and provide immediate assisted ventilations (moderately high inspiratory pressures, allowing for prolonged expiratory phase):
  
  • AD: 5-8vents/min @ Vt 6-7mls/kg
  • PD L Child (12-16y): 8-12vents/min to achieve rise/fall
  • PD M Child (5-11y): 10-14vents/min to achieve rise/fall
  • PD S Child (2-4y): 12-15vents/min to achieve rise/fall
  • PD Infant (1-2y): 15-20vents/min to achieve rise/fall
• Adrenaline IM if not already administered:
  
  • AD: Adrenaline 500mcg IM, repeated @5-10/60, max 1.5mg
  • PD: Adrenaline 10mcg/kg IM, repeated @5-10/60, max 30mcg/kg
