The C from -CER turns into a Ç in the “nous” form.

The G from -GER turns into GE in the “nous” form.

The L from -ELER is doubled into LL in everything except the “nous” and “vous” forms.

The T from -ETER is doubled into TT in everything except the “nous” and “vous” forms.

The Y from -YER turns into an I except for in the “nous” and “vous” forms, where it remains Y.
