Top wines: RunRig Shiraz (120-160 yo vines co-ferm w/ Viogn), Descendent Shiraz (Single vineyard planted w/ RunRig cuttings co-ferm w/ Viogn), The Laird Shiraz (made from an original Barossa Shiraz clone)

Labeled “Grange Hermitage” until the 1990 vintage, Labeled Bin 95 since 1964. 1990 vintage was Wine Spectator Wine of the Year in 1995. a selection of the best grapes from a number of the company’s vineyards, Hermitage was a popular synonym for Syrah at this time
