What are the reasons for coroner referral?
A
Cause of death unknown, suicide, unlawful killing, death realated to occupation, iatrogenic death (abortion, neglect, anaesthetic…), death occurring (in custody/prison, under section, due to medical neglect, within 24hrs of amission), any suspicious circumstances, violence

Who can refer to the coroner?
A
